A collection of our stories illustrating the kinds of impacts that community organising can have on individuals and communities.

Check out this brilliant collection of community organisers stories from all around England.

This document is the first in a series of short publications about the day-to-day experiences and work of the organisers and the volunteer organisers. These stories offer a window into the programme and in each case are a brief snapshot in the journey of a community organiser and the community where they are working. New stories and actions are developing all the time.

These particular stories were chosen as we feel they draw out some of the key themes which have become apparent over the course of the programme: local democracy, neighbourhood pride, community spirit, individual possibility and more.
